With the advent of GDPR we’re all having to tighten up on how we handle and store data. You can rest assured that I’m registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office and have a Data Protection Licence.
The Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA) states that all data controllers must register with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) for a data protection licence and renew their registration annually. The data controller is any individual or organisation the processes personal information.
So much paperwork and legislation is about ticking boxes and keeping everything in line, I’ve got that covered.
